Nicole Ari Parker, an American actor who has appeared on film and television and on stage is best known for playing Teri Joseph, a flamboyant lawyer in the show the show on Showtime called Soul Food. Contractor who was born in Mumbai living in Nigeria since she was seven years old, had a lot of knowledge about the world's cultures, and traveled extensively at such a young stage. She was a part of the audition for it at Stratford Shakespeare Festival (Ontario Canada) and was awarded. Her performance received rave reviews. her work in the 92 shows performed the play was voted the production of the year by Canadian critics in 2002. The actress accepted an invitation to join Stratford's conservatory. This is a course that allows only four males and eight women are able to take an intensive 20-week program in classical theatre. Contractor's spot was assured for the following series of plays She was also offered Hermia's part for the role of Hermia A Midsummer Night's Dream.
